I've heard so many myths regarding teeth floating, and how often it should be done. My horse is being a little monster and i am hoping it is his 'new' permanent. My gelding will be 9 y/o next year and he was born here on. Once the caps come out, it takes about 6 months for the permanent teeth to come in enough meet. Those look like older horse teeth to me. I'm just curious as to what age you personally start having your horses teeth floated, if you've raised a horse from birth?
