Simrad Charts - Was just wondering if anyone has ever had an issue like this. According to shadowx no sharing maps, sonar or waypoints but everything else will work? The only reusable parts of the current system on the new to me boat is a airmar thru hull 1kw xducer with furuno plug and a simrad ap14 heading control paired with a scp12. I mainly fish offshore for tuna/paddy hopping or the islands (socal). Simrad and furuno have much deeper roots in depth sounding & radar. I’ve searched to the ends of the internet with no answer. Could someone please tell me if modern simrad radar units are compatible with the garmin 7612xsv. Now whenever there is a.
